No bugs, lots of flora and fauna great views wonderful people and the best kept secret in the oops almost let you know where we are my bad. I Can Breathe Again Now

Fuck You, Hattiesburg, you can fall into the Gulf. I hate everything about you and most of your people.

As Good as Your Word

Remember when a handshake was as good as a contract, no, I use to. I'm not old, mid-thirtys that's not old, so if I still know what a handshake means, you'd thing a sixty something year old would. Yet, another learning experience for me.

Today a twister, tore through our town and the only warning we got was after the fact.
This would not be an issue if everyone down here had homes, but they don't. Lots of people still are in tents and a "bad thunderstorm" is something to be concerned about.

Yet again we are left to our own device to deceide our fate. Which is fine with me.

Enlightened

Just got back from Vancouver,BC and, man, was it great. We, Americans, have things so fucked up and we don't even know it.

Some examples for you diehard "love it or leave it" Americans.
Super low crime, clean city, great public transportation, very friendly people and the idea of having a hand gun for "protection" is unheard of and concidered cowardice.

It is safe to walk down the streets at any time of the day or night. Now before you say that lots of places in the states are safe, you are wrong, misinformed and stupid to believe it.
When I was in Vancouver a man was shot in my hometown for walking down the street with his hands in his pockets. He was shot in the head by a cop. The cop stopped the man for walking down the street @12am with his hands in his pockets the temp. was about 40 degrees F the man followed the cops orders to remove his hands and the man complied twice the third time he placed his hands in his pockets the cop told him he was under arrest and a struggle insued the cop shot the guy in the head killing him.

Our goverment has passed laws removing our most basic rights. The government has even demanded the search results from google, yahoo, and many others saying that it is important to national security.

If the net is now so important to security then why did the government deceide that they had no need for it and give it up to the colleges. Because our government cannot make any thing work properly so they wait until someone else fixes it and then takes it over. This trick is something that they really enjoy doing to land that people have and the government want.

In Vancouver their government tries to help their citizens and to provide them with a high quality of living.

No one wants to kill Canadians, I even saw a news broadcast were the spokesman for Afghanistan apologized for the loss of Canadian lives in his country. Never have you heard anyone apologize for killing Americans.

We have been told that America is the greatest country in the world and with the wealth that our country has we should be. But we are not, we can't even provide assisstance to our citizen when a disaster hits. Don't believe me check and see who the first people to render help to the Katrina victims. It was the Vancouver Urban Search and Resue, not FEMA, not the Red Cross and when our local sheriff got fed up with our government dragging its feet with help and did something to help his people our wonderful government brought federal charges against him. He was told to plead guility or they would charge his deputies with a federal crime.

Now get off your ass and start looking at what you freedoms you have lost.
